Our philosophy is that all great hitters have components of the following: bat control, power and consistency. Depending on any individual role in a lineup, one might focus on mastering one category over another, but the complete hitter displays strength in all three. All of our hitting lessons are geared towards building a solid foundation while continually attacking improvement in each of the major categories.
While all of our instructors may have varying styles and approaches to their teaching, the mechanics and terminology is shared amongst the staff.
The RISR assessment can be taken on any HitTrax system and will allow us to identify your areas of improvement. Players are delivered scores in each main hitting category and recommended appropriate lessons based on performance. Taking assessments will also allow you to track your improvement, set continual benchmarks, and keep on track towards reaching your goals. An active RISR subscription is required for assessments.
We anticipate that RISR will be complementary to everything you are doing with your private instructor and/or in your team practices. RISR will allow you to continue working on your own and share your progress with your coaches. Coaches and private instructors can even roam the app to share relevant lessons that build upon what you are working on together.
RISR™ contains lessons in the following categories: hitting and mental training. All content is leveled and tagged for specific age of players and shared with the appropriate audience. In addition to individual lessons, we also provide targeted training programs to strategically build into a specific goal (ex. Increasing your Power in 10 weeks).
